-Still wondering if counseling is right for you? Email or call to set up a FREE 15 minute phone/video call so we can connect.

No Insurance Info

- I do not accept any form of insurance or EAP benefits (See reasons below). I do provide a limited number of reduced rate sliding scale sessions available based on proof of household income* ($95-$145).

-Please ask about this before scheduling to determine your rate.

*Household Income is defined as the gross sum of all of the combined incomes of those individuals contributing to the household expenses regardless of familial or marital status.

Payment

-Clients pay for each session at the time of service. Debit/Credit, HSA*, FSA* cards and Checks are accepted.

*HSA and FSA cards are not eligible forms of payment for Life Coaching sessions.

Cancellations and No-Shows

- If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance (by email, phone, or text).

- Otherwise, you will be required to pay a Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee equal to the rate of your normal counseling session.

Why No Insurance?

I do not accept any type of insurance for payment for visits. The reason for this is as follows:

  • No Paper Trail: Most of my clients want to engage in counseling services, but they do not want a formal mental health diagnosis given to their insurance company. Insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis before they will pay for your sessions.

  • Confidentiality: When a formal mental health diagnosis is given to your insurance company, the information is entered into your permanent medical record. Most of my clients want to be 100% in charge of their medical information without having a permanent diagnosis on their record.

  • Simplicity: My clients pay for services via debit/credit card, Health Savings Account (HSA), or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). You can access your paid invoices 24/7 using the secure client portal. No deductibles, copays, delayed billing, or EOBs!
